The Narnian Adventures

What a blessing Narnian Adventures has been, truly. Lydia led this course beautifully; listening tenderly. It was my daughter’s first online course and I am so glad she chose to get involved. The weekly Zoom meetings with the other children were a particular highlight. She loved the independence of the confidential meetings and each time she came away positively glowing! She continues to ponder upon the truths revisited regularly within the teaching material – of the Lord’s active presence in her life and His deep love for her. The practice of slowing down whilst reading, and exercises to encourage reflection and journaling, were really helpful in building confidence to meet alone with Jesus in this way.

Narnian Adventures was really fun 🙂 I enjoyed the course so much❤️Each morning we usually had a Bible story and then reflected about it. We could read our Narnia book chapters anytime during the day. At night we’d do our journaling. On Friday evenings, we’d all meet together online at 6:30pm IST. It was such a lovely, peaceful time. Saturday and Sunday we all had a little rest. We had a couple of holiday weeks during the course where we all took a break. My teacher (Aunty Lydia) was so kind and gentle. I’d recommend Narnian Adventures to children who are interested in Jesus and like to read.

Our girls absolutely loved Lydia’s classes each week. They eagerly looked forward to them and were deeply blessed by every discussion. Lydia is incredibly patient and makes sure every child feels heard and valued. She also engages the children with meaningful and thought-provoking discussions. This CoN series is truly worth the investment, and I’m confident it will be a blessing to everyone who enrolls.

My son was part of the ‘The Chronicles of Narnia online program’ and it’s been truly encouraging to see how he has engaged with it.
It’s been so nice to see him dig deeper beyond the heavy reading he usually does. To be able to sit with the themes of the book and have a space to think things through, along with children his age, has been really valuable.

A big part of this experience has been Lydia. She has a gentle way of steering the class, patiently drawing each child in, and taking the time to check in with them individually. There’s a lot of intentionality in how she leads, and it shows in the way the children respond and engage.

The sessions and the daily excercises have helped my son not just read the book, but actually pause, reflect, and process what he’s reading in a more meaningful way. I’ve especially appreciated how the program encourages conversation and thoughtful engagement, rather than just arriving at the “right” answers.

Also, the little personal touches, Lydia’s personal notes to the kids, her encouragement, and blessings shared in each session, have really rounded out the journey in a special way.

Overall, it’s been a really good space for my son to grow in both understanding and expression, and I’m grateful for the care and thought Lydia has put into making this such a meaningful experience.

The Narnian Adventures was an amazing book club for bookworms like me.

Aunty Lydia did a wonderful job at holding these sessions; her teaching style was nice & the interactions were extremely fun. The CoN books are beautifully written and the song on Aslan was just so amazing..just so spectacular.

Everyone in the group were so kind….especially when I would sometimes forget to read some parts of the book. They would all fill me in on what happened in the book.

If I were to rate the book club it would easily be a 10 out of 10 and I hope Aunty Lydia will do more sessions like this in the future.  😀  Jordan

‘Though Ivan had read the series earlier, this time associating it with faith was new. Kids were able to find out and point out the stories relating with the Bible and faith. It was more than what I could see also.’

Lydia is an amazing teacher… Narnia series has been a wonderful and fruitful journey and I would highly recommend this journey for other kids. The prompts and discussion have been an enriching experience for my kid.
